THE TURBINE ROOM

An extension to the main building houses a 6 Mega Watt Turbine Generator from the now demolished Yallourn Power Station. The room, known as the Yallourn Power Station Turbine Annexe, also displays other general power station memorabilia.  

                    

 

 

A small section of the floor has the original terracotta tiles, which once spanned the floor of the A & B turbine hall.

 

 

 

 

 

  A selection of  gauges that once monitored the operation of the station turbines and boilers.
